The Huntsville Eagles Football Team (1-8, 0-6) traveled to Pea Ridge to take on the conference-leading Blackhawks (9-0, 6-0) in its coldest contest of the season so far as Pea Ridge walked away with another victory over the Eagles, 56-28.

The temperature continued to drop throughout the course of the game, with the final temp dropping down to 36 degrees.

As the temp dropped, the Eagles defense seemed to heat up as the Blackhawks scored 21 unanswered points in the first quarter. The defense began to force turnovers throughout the final three quarters, which held the second and fourth quarters to a tie of 14 all and 7 all with the Blackhawks besting the Eagles in the third 14-7.

Huntsville Head Coach Randy Barnhill also credited the offense for never giving up during the course of the game.
